Mary Byrne Hoffmann (1950-2019) was a picture book author for the young and the young at heart. She loved giving voice to stories that could tickle and delight and sometimes inspire. This Summer, her first picture book for children, Grammy! Grammy! and the Magic Hat! was published by Dayton Publications. In Fall 2019, How to Do Old, a whimsical take on the simple joys of being old-- will be published by Alma Publishng. Her estate will be working to complete other projects including Lovebird ,  the poignant story of a little girl who is homeless with only one wish -- to see her Mama smile again.
